BeauCoup Project on NANO TV

Bridging Cultural Gaps for Older Adults

11/06/2024

We’re thrilled to share that the BeauCoup Project is being highlighted on NANO TV! Starting at minute 20:52, viewers can explore how this forward-thinking initiative is transforming cultural access for older adults who may experience physical or social barriers to visiting museums. NOUS, as the leading technology partner, is helping drive BeauCoup’s mission to connect people with art and cultural heritage in new and engaging ways.

The NANO TV feature includes footage from the Kunsthistorisches Museum and a retirement home in Vienna, showing BeauCoup’s real-world impact on older adults in interactive group settings. These sessions illustrate the joy and curiosity that come from discovering art in accessible, multisensory formats. Artifacts are presented through service models like The Bag, The Box, and The Screen, each uniquely tailored to stimulate cognitive engagement and social interaction among users.

BeauCoup’s approach is built on research and insights into how cultural experiences can enhance the quality of life for seniors, keeping them connected and active. As part of the EU’s Active & Assisted Living program, the project is focused on solutions that make art and heritage more accessible beyond traditional museum walls. By creating a dynamic ecosystem, BeauCoup allows museums, tourism agencies, and other cultural institutions to adapt content and deliver cultural experiences that meet the needs of older adults, enhancing inclusivity and sparking new forms of cultural participation.

We’re honored to contribute our technology expertise to BeauCoup, which is setting new standards in digital cultural access and making a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
