Polyphonic. Sensitive. Competent.

Rarely has a new museum building been so hotly disputed even before construction began as that of the Humboldt Forum in the center of Berlin. The re-erection of the historic façade of the Berlin Castle alone, which was financed by private donations and behind which the cultural center was built in ten years, divided the minds of citizens and experts. But the content and presentation of the exhibitions - above all those of the Ethnological Museum of the Berlin State Museums - continue to be a source of debate. Questions about the colonial background and the associated legal ownership of the museum continue to raise eyebrows. This is a sensitive and highly complex topic that we had to deal with intensively when designing the audio texts for the visitor media guide. In addition, we had to deal with the large number of contact persons, some of whom changed, because apart from the State Museums Berlin, the Berlin City Museum and the Humboldt University in Berlin also present their collections here. Thus, in addition to competence in content, the ability for effective project management and sensitive communication was in demand. No problem for our creative team! The overarching concept for the mobile interpretation and the 90 audio script so far were created on time and to our clients’ satisfaction, who send us this nice message after delivery:

„The opening at the end of September went extremely well - also thanks to your great work! Thanks again for your commitment! Thus, the tours for the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art could be launched in time for the opening to the great satisfaction of all involved - from the general director to the curators to the visitor service!“
