Android Developer (f/m/x)

Your Responsibilities

As an Android developer at NOUS you

  • are part of our video streaming team providing mobile/tv solutions for one of our main clients,
  • work closely with UX and project management experts,
  • write DRY, SOLID code,
  • coordinate detailed decisions concerning UI/UX, stability and error handling
  • are responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing Android projects, as well as improving quality and
  • publish applications on the PlayStore.

Your Qualifications

  • Passionate about building mobile applications
  • Deep knowledge of the Android platform and have already published several applications
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Android development
  • Knowledge of Android Studio, Kotlin and Coroutines, Java and Android SDK
  • Familiar with Jetpack Components: Navigation component, Viewmodels, RoomDB (or comparable database and ORM usage)
  • Solid understanding of Dependency injection (e.g.: Koin, Hilt)
  • Team player, flexible and reliable
  • Fluency in English; good command of written and spoken German is a plus

Annual gross salary starting at 49000 Euro (on a full-time basis) with the possibility of higher pay according to experience and qualifications. Full time position, start asap.

Software Test Engineer (f/m/x)

As a software tester at NOUS, you will ensure quality for existing installations and applications and test new products for functionality and usability to guarantee a good user experience. You will work closely with our project managers and developers in a fast-paced environment and contribute significantly to the development of quality assurance strategies.

Your tasks

  • Cross-platform testing of websites, web apps and native apps, mobile and TV
  • Creation of test cases
  • Analysis & documentation of the test results
  • Driving forward test automation with suitable tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress...)
  • Management, expansion and maintenance of the test device pool
  • Ongoing further development of quality assurance and test procedures
  • Communication and close cooperation with product managers and developers

Your profile

We are looking for you if

  • you are enthusiastic about mobile applications and apps,
  • you have ideally completed a technical apprenticeship and
  • have already gained experience as a software tester in an agile environment (ticket tracking, test automation tools, APIs, JSON, XML, network analysis tools such as Charles Proxy),
  • you are characterized by attention to detail and problem-solving skills as well as quick comprehension and strong communication skills,
  • you have the ability to work to tight deadlines,
  • you have a responsible and independent way of working and
  • very good German and English language skills.

Senior IT Project Manager (f/m/x)

We are looking for a motivated project manager with experience in managing software projects.

You know how to develop mobile apps and agile project management methods? This role requires excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams to successful project delivery.

Your tasks

As Project Manager (f/m/d) at NOUS, you

  • independently lead projects for the development and improvement of mobile applications;
  • work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery;
  • take care of the sprint planning, manage the day-to-day stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives;
  • monitor the project progress, identify bottlenecks and make adjustments to ensure timely delivery;
  • use your conceptual skills and contribute innovative ideas and solutions to improve the user-friendliness, functions and functionality of applications;
  • define project scope, goals and results together with those involved and develop project timetables;
  • Identify critical dependencies and potential risks and proactively manage challenges and obstacles that may affect the timing or quality of the project;
  • maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, provide status updates and project performance indicators;
  • work with our QA team to ensure the quality and stability of mobile applications and ensure a smooth release process;
  • support the generation of follow-up projects and the acquisition of new customers.

Your Profile

  • Technical education
  • Experience (3 years) as a project manager, preferably in the field of mobile application development
  • Mastery of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, Asana)
  • Communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in conception and finding ideas to improve the user-friendliness of mobile applications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of German at native-tongue level and good English
